I’ve been doing the building process manually by hand for a while and obviously should do something about it. I haven’t seen any documentation on the scripts in each example (examples/[plugin]/scripts). I am under the impression that they should help speed up the distribution process, but I am not sure how to use them. How can I do this? Are there any other tools I can use to make distribution easier? Thanks!

The makedist-mac.sh and makedist-win.bat scripts in the examples/[plugin]/scripts folders still need updating for iPlug2, however the iPlugOOS template project has up to date scripts, that can also be built with github actions:
