Control value text not showing up - for 1 specific user

A user has reported (and sent screenshots) of my plugin running in Wavelab and Ableton on his Win 10 machine where ALL of the control values are missing from the UI. No one else has reported this problem and it works properly here in those same DAWs.

It appears a problem with the font (missing or conflict) however AFAIK our fonts are embedded in the plugin so this seems unlikely.

What else could possibly cause this? A font conflict of some sort? One of his screenshots shows an “unexpected parameters” error - but yet he can turn the knobs and they respond and read/write automation so the parameters themselves are working.

Perhaps it’s a unicode issue? You could ask what locale the user’s system is set to.

Thank you for the reply. User has now indicated that he is having font issues with plugins from multiple developers - so either you are correct or he has a corruption of some kind. I’ve never seen this before. He claims it is only affecting plugins on his machine (nothing else).
