How can I test the midi effect plugin in example?
Ideally I would like to be able to open a standalone synth (I’ve got Falcon for example) and send midi to it, is it possible?
What’s the easiest setup for testing and debugging midi effects?
Otherwise I also have Reaper in terms of DAW.
Testing the VST3 with Reaper is pretty easy isn’t it? That is how I would do it.
Not as easy as pressing the start button on visual studio and testing out of the box, but I guess easy enough!
I guess I’ll need to get used to switching windows.
I didn’t as well whether I would need to refresh the vsts in reaper everytime I compile but I guess once the vst is in the list it will load the version that’s on the system, whether it’s a new compilation or not
